We take it as a good sign that we have five judges returning for the second or third year. Surely they only come back if they had a good time? It’s always a crucial moment when we begin to look at who would be the best team to decide the winners of each category, then we have to ask them… Over the next few weeks we will also be announcing some exciting new people who are joining us in 2025.

We obviously welcome suggestions for new industry experts, especially if they are local, or have a local connection. Do get in touch.

In our first year, during our jury meeting to decide the winner of the Narrative award, one of the jury stopped the discussion and said “Sorry, before we go any further can I just say that I thought this was going to be terrible, because it’s a new festival, but it’s been BRILLIANT! Thank you.”
